Role/focus:

Halcor participates in TRINEFLEX project by validating and demonstrating the integrated TRINEFLEX system. Halcor’s demonstration case is applied in Single- and Chaintrack drawing processes. Digital Retrofitting will enable smart monitoring and enhance flexibility by providing crucial insights into the consumption patterns as well as the correlation with machine states. Additionally, TRINEFLEX platform and DSS agents, through a holistic predictive maintenance scheme, will contribute to predicting and explaining device performance and energy utilization, both of which will be reported to the plant operators. In particular, within TRINEFLEX project the Environmental Maintenance Planning will be developed which utilizes criteria such as environmental impact (scrap, CO2 emissions, etc.), energy cost, energy efficiency, remaining useful life, operating cost and maintenance time.

He reports to the Chief Technical Officer of the Copper and Alloys Extrusion Division and is responsible for Electrical Maintenance Management and Project Management. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineer along with a Master’s Degree in Advanced Technologies in Electronics both from the University of the West of England (UWE). He has considerable managerial experience in the industrial and construction sector.

Eleftherios Sifakis

He reports to the Chief Technical Officer of the Copper and Alloys Extrusion Division. He holds a Masters Degree in mechanical engineering from the NTUA technical university of Athens. He has considerable managerial experience in the industrial sector.

He holds a MSc in Mechanical & Industrial Engineering from school of Engineering of University of Thessaly along with a master’s degree in Material Science & Technology from National Technical University of Athens. He is an experienced Engineer specializing in Maintenance/New projects sectors. His strengths included Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Methodology and problem solving. He speaks Greek, Italian as native languages, English and French.

Eyaggelos Moschopoulos

Press/ Breakdown & Forklifts Department Manager

He reports to the Factory Director of Copper Tubes Plant. He holds a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of University of Patras and a Master Degree in Energy Production and Management from NTUA. He also is a certified Lean Six-Sigma Black Belt with his professional career and experience focused in production engineering and management.

Christos Papalexis

He reports to the Chief Technical Officer of the Copper and Alloys Extrusion Division performing technical projects. He is a mechanical engineer (BSc & MSc) who graduated from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and he is a PhD Candidate at University of West Attica (UNIWA). He has considerable experience in EU research projects.
