THE COMPANY
Idener is a private research SME, spin-off of University of Seville funded in 2010 with headquarters in Aeropolis, the Aerospace technology park in Seville. Idener counts on more than 90 engineers, mathematicians and physicists (around 60% are PhDs) and focuses on scientific computing, systems modelling and AI tools. Idener is involved in more than 65 European and national projects (with 17 coordinated and 35 ongoing within the H2020/HEU framework) and has published more than 40 international journal articles, with more than 25 in book format.
THE ROLE OF idener INSIDE TRINEFLEX PROJECT
Idener develops the platform of the project and is in charge of the process optimisation agent of the ESAMUR and REFIAL demo cases.
The platform enables the operator to monitor the outcomes of the multi-agent system in a user interface and examine processes and status. The process optimisation agent of ESAMUR minimises the energy consumption during the aeration process while maintaining good quality levels of the effluent, and the REFIAL agent simulates the prototype of the rotary furnace they use to melt aluminum. Its main function is to act as a digital twin and study relevant cases or future states, but it also has an optimization function for burner management.
